© Albatross Films Australia. 2022. All rights reserved. Length: 3m. The 16-metre yacht, the Severance, was wrecked on the eastern side of Lady Elliot Island during a tropical storm in 1998. With much of its rigging still in place, it was towed to the western side of the island and sunk on a sandy bottom, 21 metres deep. Encrusted with corals, the wreck is a haven for a diversity of marine l;fe including Moorish Idols, Red emperors, Sweetlips and Lionfish. Produced by David Parer & Elizabeth Parer-Cook.
