In 1995-6, Filmmakers David Parer & Liz Parer-Cook spend 2 years in the Galapagos with their young daughter. This is the story of their adventure in the Galapagos Islands during the production of “Dragons of Galapagos” and “Islands of the Vampire Birds”. For months on end they camped along the coast of Fernandina, one of the most active volcanos on earth where daughter Zoe swam with sea lions and tramped over the sharp lava fields in bare feet. They journeyed by boat to the northern islands and swam with Whale Sharks and Hammerheads. It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
